Community Basket

Clean cooking and clean water, close to the household

Cookstoves, borehole rehabilitation and community energy across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, chosen for measurable social co-benefits.

Community is the basket to buy when the story matters as much as the tonne. Every project in it changes something inside a household: an efficient charcoal stove that cuts fuel spend by around half, a rehabilitated borehole that removes the need to boil water over a wood fire, a locally manufactured stove that cuts firewood use by roughly 70 percent. Cookstove crediting is an area where the market has documented over-crediting risk, so the basket is capped at BBB, spread across four independent programmes and four countries, and priced accordingly rather than sold as a premium product.
