Afforestation in cooperation with local landowners for Forestal San Pedro S

The proposed VCS grouped project “Afforestation in cooperation with local landowners for Forestal San Pedro S.A” represents one of the first major afforestation projects of the private sector in Paraguay. Forestal San Pedro is a company established in 2019 by an International forestry Fund. The company aims to establish and manage an area of 8,000 ha of sustainable forest plantations for the sequestration of carbon and the production of quality timber in Eastern Paraguay.
